Stroller Car Seat Systems make outings with your baby even more enjoyable and convenient.
Infant car seats are usually light and compact and they’ll feel like that as you carry them about - until baby get larger and heavier. If you notice one of your arms is getting longer or you’ve developed a lean to one side then it’s time to get a car seat carrier. Better yet get one now. A car seat carrier is a stroller onto which an infant car seat can quickly be attached. Two types of car seat carriers are available: stroller car seat systems and universal car seat strollers. Stroller Car Seat SystemsYou can purchase a complete infant car seat system. Also known as a baby stroller travel system these systems come with the stay-in-car base, the infant car seat and a stroller onto which the infant car seat will snap. When your child is older the stroller can be used like a regular stroller. You can even find running stroller travel systems. You runners will know what a running stroller is. Just be aware that manufacturers recommend against running with the infant car seat installed. You’ll have to wait until the child is older, just as with a regular running stroller. Universal Car Seat StrollersA universal car seat stroller is a simple stroller frame that will accommodate a variety of infant car seats from various manufacturers. They can only be used for carrying infant car seats. They can not be used like a regular stroller when your child is older. Get one that has a storage basket underneath. Universal car seat strollers are usually quite inexpensive, light and compact.
