The Britax Marathon, Comfort and Style With Safety

The Britax Marathon car seat is more properly known as the Britax Marathon Racer. It is a convertible type seat. It can be used as an infant seat, as a toddler seat, and as a booster seat.

When used as an infant seat it is rated for babies who weigh five to thirty-three pounds. As an infant seat, the Britax Marathon car seat must be installed rear facing. After the child's first birthday, the Britax Marathon car seat can be turned to face forward, for use as a toddler seat, and holds children twenty to sixty-five pounds.

The Britax Marathon car seat has a number of handy features. For example, it has a twist free and tangle free five-point harness with locking chest clip. The harness can be adjusted to four positions to fit your child snugly as they grow. It also is equipped with the LATCH system, as are most Britax car seats.

The Britax Marathon car seat has a very comfortable plush seat cover. This is removable and washable. There are also other seat covers available shaped to give a child more shoulder room as they get bigger. Car seat covers come in six colors, and four patterns.
