After the child's first birthday, The Britax Marathon carseat can be turned to face the front, and holds children twenty to sixty-five pounds. The Britax Marathon carseat has many nice features. It has a twist and tangle free five-point harness with locking chest clip. The harness can be placed in four positions to fit your child snugly as they grow. The Britax Marathon carseat also features the LATCH system.

The Britax Marathon carseat also has a very comfortable plush, removable and washable seat cover. As a child gets bigger, there are also other seat covers available shaped to give the child more shoulder room. The carseat covers come in six colors, and four patterns.
