Century Carseat |
What Type of Century Carseat is Right for Your Child?
The Century brand is now part of Graco. World leading manufacturer Graco makes products for children and babies.
Century carseats are some of their durable, reliable and stylish products. The Century carseat comes in one of
three types: Infant, convertible, and booster seats.
Century infant seats come in two ranges. Some are for babies up to twenty-two pounds or twenty-six inches long.
Others are for babies up to twenty-six pounds, and twenty-nine inches long. Infant seats have extra support for your
infants' head and back. Some have bases that stay buckled in your vehicle so you can unlatch the seat to use as a
convenient carrier. Additional bases can be purchased for convenience when using more than one vehicle. Their infant
carseats come in many styles and colors.
The Century carseat is also available in convertible models. A convertible Century carseat can be called
an infant-toddler carseat. This seat is used rear facing for a young baby. After their first birthday it then can be
turned around. These seats are usually good for children up to forty pounds. Their convertible seats come in many
styles and colors. Some have detachable head pillows.
Century also makes several booster seats. This kind of Century carseat comes in sizes for all ages and
heights. Boosters seats are for helping children too big for a traditional Century carseat to wear a seatbelt properly.
Some boosters have harnesses for young children, and others just use the seat belt guides.
